Super High Me documents Benson not consuming cannabis for 30 days and then smoking and otherwise consuming cannabis every day for 30 days in a row.Benson claims that Super High Me is "Super Size Me with weed instead of McDonalds". To make sure alcohol wouldn't affect the results, he didn't drink for the two months he filmed the documentary. The film also includes interviews with marijuana activists, dispensary owners, politicians and patients who comprise the medical marijuana movement. Benson claims that he tells kids "you should not smoke pot until you become a professional comedian". The DVD was released on June 17.
Benson took various tests to gauge his physical and mental health both after 30 days of not using pot and after doing so for 30 days straight. Benson's physician concluded that Benson's health was unaffected by his use of cannabis. Benson did gain 8 pounds during his high month, but his sperm count actually increased and he scored seven times better on an ESP test (Seven versus one correct guesses out of 25). His overall score on an SAT test increased, though his math score was slightly lower.

god, if i smoked for thirty days straight i think after the first week i wouldn't really feel the effects anymore...i usually have to wait a day inbetween smoking in order to get pretty fucked up
i still will see this though

apparently it went onto dvd the 17th of this month...amazon and best buy's website both have it listed. i wonder if it'll be available in my local store...
damn, best buy says it's not available in store. oh well...

My friend is a Benson fan and had this sent to him (you could get a "preview" copy direct from Benson's site) in time for 4/20, so we watched it on that day. It's a really fucking funny movie (not unexpected) but don't go thinking this is going to change the world's opinion on the subject matter- it's not exactly the best documentary. Now, if he'd have gotten his best comedian buddies to do the same thing so we had a larger sample size... maybe he's saving that for the sequel.

They're alright, but honestly they kind of defeat the purpose. If you actually like weed and still have good lungs, the smoking is half of the pleasure. It would be like someone who really likes beer eating an alcoholic beer candy. A bit of the taste and all of the buzz, but none of the substance, if that makes any sense. I like vaporizers alright but they're not the same at all.

couple reasons i want one. i've been told they're really efficient, wihch is key with the good stuff. other thing is i just moved in to this stacked 3 story house and when we smoke inside the whole place smells like it quickly. can't just light up some incense to cover it up. perhaps we should limit inside to glass only
