Has anyone seen this? Any good? Funny? It looks ok to me, like it could be funny or all the funny lines might just be in the previews. Anyway, I'll probably rent it through netflix or sneak into it next week after my wife forces me to go see WALL-E. Just wanted people's thoughts on it who might have seen it.

Haven't seen it, but the same concerns as you. I've read mostly so-so reviews of it. Anne Hathaway is gorgeous, so that's at least one thumbs-up. Likely a Netflix rental, as well.

On video? It just came out in theaters last week.
Anyway, haven't seen it but I used to love the show and Steve Carell looks like good casting for the part, plus Anne Hathaway is mega hot. I'd say you'll get something for your time.

This movie was much funnier than I thought it would be, snuck in after Wall-e and was pleasantly surprised, I thought it was fantastic, made me laugh out loud more than a few times.

Yeah, but honestly I wouldn't have minded paying for this one. I'll probably buy the DVD because it's one of those comedies I could watch over and over. But I like Steve Carrell's style of humor, so if you don't like that dry sense of humor, I wouldn't recommend this.

lol, i was going to include his name but i'm in wrestling mode tonight so Johnson can sod off
He'll always be The Rock to me (i'll never be a fan of any other wrestler on the same level as Rocky)
I noticed he doesn't even put "the Rock" in between his name anymore. Guess he's trying to go "legit".

Yeah, in recent interviews he said The Game Plan was either the last time he'd use 'The Rock' or the first time he'd use just his real name. I can't remember exactly.
Makes sense though, Hollywood will never take him seriously if he remains linked to the WWE forever.

i cant stand anne hathaway. the only movie shes not bothered me in was Becoming Jane.
other than that theres something in her that just irks me no end! it even surpasses her hotness
