CHIEFS FAN CODE OF CONDUCT The Kansas City Chiefs are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for our fans. When attending a game, the stadium staff will proactively intervene to support an environment where event patrons, their guests and other fans can enjoy the event, free from the following behaviors:
• Foul, obscene, offensive or abusive language or actions • Standing and/or obstructing the view of other fans • Intoxication or other signs of impairment • Smoking except in designated areas • Fighting and unruly or inconsiderate behavior • Obscene or indecent clothing or signs • Conduct that endangers spectators or participants • Harassment of visiting team fans • Interfering with the progress of the game, going onto the field or throwing any object onto the field • Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel • Selling items or tickets in the stadium or on sports complex grounds • Attempting to sit in a location other than the guest’s ticketed seat • Destroying property
Event patrons are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons occupying their seats. Please respect the rights of others. Event patrons and guests who choose not to adhere to these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund.
Pretty much now that you see better on TV anyway. I have no reason to go to games anymore with these types of lame ass rules.
Why do people who are offended by everything EVER leave the house?
Does EVERYTHING have to be corporate and lame?
NO standing? Don't boo either while you're at it. Or cheer, because I might not be able to hear my fucking cell phone as I'm expecting my buddy to call so I can wave at them.

Seriously though, I don't think this is going to be enforced to the letter--just to cover all ground legally.
meh, you have to compete to be a rival.
this is the effect of personal seat licenses. I already prefer being at home given the sad sack state of my team this just makes it more corporate. The less fun it is (ie Corporate) the less people are going to care to go.
Oh sure you'll have clients and "families" but whatever.
Lame ass atmosphere. a bunch of moms whining about language and losers who can't stand up.

They basically just have this same "standing" rule at University of Phoenix stadium, it just isn't written down. Ushers were cracking down hard last year for "excessive standing." It's a complete joke! Stay at home if you want to sit down the whole game.

That is absolutely ridiculous. I used to usher events in college and had some woman complain she couldn't see at a concert cause two girls were standing and dancing. I informed the woman I could re-seat her in the upper deck if she preferred.

there's no reason to stand for every second of a four-hour football game, but i don't see how one can enforce a standing rule.

aren't these pretty much already rules? in layman terms:
1 don't be an asshole 2 don't get overly intoxicated 3 don't smoke in the stands 4 don't fight 5 don't wear clothes or bring signs that say "fuck" or "cunt" or any other word like those 6 don't go apeshit and risk people's necks (throwing snowballs, for instance) 7 don't harass people 8 don't throw shit on the field 9 listen to what staff/security tell you 10 don't scalp 11 sit in your designated seat 12 don't destroy property
i don't understand: these aren't already rules in every stadium?

i mean, they're normal, followable rules. i don't get it. the standing rule is the only one i take issue with. the rest seem common sense.

yeah but I like the way you wrote it better. In any case courtesy is important but at the same time... honestly man I'm telling you no one wants the Turner Field atmosphere especially in football. Well unless you're all about bringing your 6 year old to games with a 4 second attention span I guess.
This Code of Conduct thing simply means they are going to enforce it more.

i go to all the bills games. to me, it seems that the people who stand the entire game and are so drunk, they are the ones waving to their friends, and not watching the game. They get up every drive to get a beer or go to the bathroom. and the whole row has to get up and let them out and let them back in.
I don't think the rule is to say 'sit the entire game', it's saying, let other people watch. if eveyrone stands up then stand up.

But that's basically already included in the ticket which is a license, they can throw you out already or tell you to sit down. Basically this is more than window dressing. To me it means they are going to strictly control the goings on and that means essentially taking the fan out of the game... they want quiet demure voyeurs.
