I been way into Tomahawk lately.

The debut's first 5 songs are perfection I'd have to say.

I'm just discovering all Mike Patton's projects though so I think I'm in for a few treats. Faith No More has honestly been the least like-able so far.

As far as tomahawk Anonymous seems more hit or miss than the debut but I like the concept.

Patton rules.

There's already a Tomahawk thread if you search for it, the general consensus on anonymous was never too hot.

What's the first fantomas record a guy should get?

I'm listening to Anonymous and I gotta say it's kind of a shame the way it opens up. The actual first track is good but after that there is some iffy stuff immediately, it really puts a bad taste in your mouth but the album becomes a lot more likeable towards the end. There was so much potential for the concept of this album and it feels half wasted

FNM is one of my top 5 favorites. I also like Mr. Bungle and love that Lovage, baby. ;)
Peeping Tom is OK but still haven't been able to like Fantomas.

That last half does get a little better, but it's rough getting there.

I saw Tomahawk back in 02 at the Roxy.

Melvins opened up for them. Tomahawk owned. Patton knows how to move a crowd.

Suspended Animation is such good head space

California is just nice, sweet charity, they didn't know they were robots and air conditioned nightmare just go down nice

I wanna pick up some Pete Zorn, Sweet Litanies likely, perhaps a perfect place, and disco violante tomorrow

And Anonymous actually is pretty much good start to finish I warmed to the few songs I didn't like

I honestly don't get the infatuation with Mike Patton. Tomahawk blows, and some of the videos, that I have been directed to, to witness his "awesomeness" were nothing more than him making a bunch of monkey noises. And his crooning is some of the shittiest singing I have ever heard.

Epic kicks ass though.
