Banged it out yesterday while the kid was at daycare.



It's a rough mix, still needs to be adjusted. Came about because I found this in an old notebook:

That's why we'll take it from here.

McP, that was as cool as it was unexpected. I loved the tone of the guit on the left, I heard a nod to Neil. What's your rig on that? Really cool break at :50. Straight ahead, bluesy, punk, trippy ending.

Both guitars were my usual elec. setup: detachable humbucker pickup in my Martin acoustic, medium strings, fed in this case through a Dod Classic Fuzz pedal (capable of some truly thick, yet ugly, sounds...my favorite description of this pedal was that it sounds "bad...which is the point!") and into my Blues Cube. Small setting changes between them, but both used the same pedal.

Funny you mention it: I actually felt the urge to make some noise after my iTunes played me Neil's Shots and Sleater-Kinney's Let's Call it Love back-to-back.
