I have a mancrush on this guy. He is soooo friggin' underrated.

To re-state what "Gods Dice" (the poster who spelled his username correctly): if you wanna hear a great solo, check the Even Flow solo at West Palm this year. Really mindblowing.

Great interview, great bits about recording the new album and Mike's favourite shows.

This guy reminded me of Chris Farley interviewing Paul McCartney on SNL. It was great seeing/hearing Mike but the interviewer sucked.

i wasn't trying to be a dick, i wouldn't have done any better. it was more the mannerism than the actual questions. i could just picture you saying "that was awesome...." the way chris did in that paul mccartney skit. i'm actually extremely jealous, and all things considered, you did a pretty good job. no worries man, didnt mean to offend.

i really enjoyed that. very cool of mike for doing it. it's rare that we get that kind of time with one of the guys, i mean he spoke to him for 25 minutes.

Yeah I shouldn't have said that. In hindsight I didn't actually mean that. It was definitely a fan run, amateur interview, but for what it was it actually turned out pretty good. Mike openned up and gave you honest answers and you kept your cool. I'll stop making sur of the moment late night criticism posts from now on because they just make me look like a prick.

Edit: And as a bearded man myself, that face rug fucking rocks.

That was a fun interview, thanks for posting. Mike seems so cool, grateful, and genuine. I'd love to meet him, and/or the whole band some day. Glad you dropped "Red Mosquito" - I'd love to see that in heavier rotation, "Tremor Christ" too.
