Just looking for somefeed back on the 2008 bootlegs. Which ones have the best quality, sound etc.. I have read that some sound really bad and I just want your opinions on the best ones to buy.

I don't think there'll be a consensus on which shows sound the best until all of them have been released and devoured. There's lots of audience stuff out there, but I don't think all of the soundboards have been released. They're available for purchase, but I think some of them are still being mixed. The early shows are really heavy on the rhythm section and vocals and the guitars are kind of low in the mix.

I'm listening to Virginia Beach right now and enjoying it a lot...definitely more than WPB and Tampa....

Still waiting to listen to Columbia and Camden 1 though...

I have Tampa and Virginia Beach, and the drums sound great on both of these.
Can't wait to hear DC. The only show I went to, and the first inside venue I believe. It was pretty echoey in there anyway, so I'm curious to hear what the recording sounds like.

I don't believe anyone has said some sound really bad. Just some mixes are a bit different. I personally love WPB and the Ed's echo. It sounds different which makes it more unique. Some will say it's not as good.

Bottom line: You will not have a consensus opinion. Form your own.

i'm listening right now to Camden II. it is definetely better than WPB or Tampa, but anyway still sounds bad imo. mike is still on low volume, and i'm using headphones

the drums sounds great

Does that guy who wrote those killer reviews of the 06 shows still post around here? I think he had a Who-related screen name or something. Anyway he wrote really good bootleg reviews.

I'm pretty sure you're referring to Nakedeye66 - I always enjoyed hearing his opinions too.

The Camden shows sound much better than the early shows of the tour. Hopefully the better sound continues through the rest of the bootlegs.

Why don't you just get the CD's instead? unless you're non-US citizen then I understand...

my list so far

West Palm....good warm up show...some cool songs like save you, low light..who you are is good..ed is awful and the mix is bad

Tampa: great show!! the mix is better and the band is on fire...porch is fucking amazing!!!

Columbia: another great show...lots of good moments like all night, rocking version of cant keep and of course WMA
