Anyone else think this is a classic? It's such a beautiful film.

Sure, some parts are corny, but it was made in the '40s.

I thought I was the only person who loved this story - I have the book and the film.
Amazing work. Underrated and amazingly beautiful.



Another film that is pretty amazing and goes unnoticed is Gigot with Jackie Gleason (the scene in the church is extremely intense and amazingly done). The music is timeless.
