maybe its just because I'm a musician, but I have noticed over the years there is always one or two songs on each album that have really weird things in the background, for instance, W.M.A. There's all that weird chanting in the background that you can't really make out. Their back up vox are almost always mixed really really low. Maybe its just me, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this, because I have been a fan for a really long time and have noticed this since the beginning.

There's already a thread for this, and there are far more subtle things going on than the chanting in WMA, which is not so hidden. Like most records, there are bits and pieces in there.

I always like the intro of Not For You, it sounds like there's a kettle or something whistling in the background, then just before the singing cuts in it stops with a creepy sounding scream type sound. really cool.

I swear to god that they used the sound for when a Game Boy powers on in one of their songs - I think it was on Binaural I can't remember off of the top of my head...

Being a musician -- which lends me a superior ear, obviously -- I will go on to list a completely obvious and pretty mundane backup vocal.

have asked for that a million times. No response.
It's my holy grail of Pj knowledge.
if you reverse the vinyl version of no code (because we all know vinyls are superior, and they only did it with this version) you get a pretty strange message saying something about stone being dead

yeah binaural has a ton of this kind of stuff buried in there. tchad blake used a neumann binaural head mic on a few of the songs. it picked up a lot of "big room" ambent noises. headphones are a must, vinyl is my preference, but good luck finding it.
