08 didn't impress me that much and i have 04, 06, and 07 as well so i don't think i'll be picking this up. aside from new features here and there a sports game is pretty much still a sports game

Yup, hence I'm still playing NFL 2K5.

ESPN NFL 2K3 is still better than any Madden game.
Blasphemy. Every Madden before Next Gen was amazing (save Madden 64, which didn't have the NFL license). They're getting pretty kickass again now, too. I didn't buy last year's, but this year's game looks pretty awesome. They finally got rid of that annoying radio announcer and got some real play-by-play guys.

I'm kind of pumped to try out the "Call Your Shot" feature in the Wii version. You basically get to draw your receiver's routes before the play. Sounds pretty cool.

just picked up my copy from blockbuster. if you're on xbox live (which most people are) when you load it up for the first time favre gets put on the jets. there is a new feature in franchise mode that when play your division rival the difficulty setting goes up regardless what level you're playing on. i'm not a big fan of the new ea rewind feature. which pretty much gives you a mulligan if you think you got screwed on a play.

i played the demo off of the PSN...looks decent enough and the AI is definitely stronger than previous years, but i don't think i'll be dropping $60 on it.
