so i know its not that good and its the only recording of it from 8 years ago and i was just starting to mess around with my 4 track digital recorder that i never really did anything with so i knew nothing about it and unfortunately couldn't mix it down to mp3 so this is unmixed and unfinished and not as good as it is now...8 years later i know how to sing it and play it but i just dont have any motivation to record it now :-( so this (me still with a cold and literally right after i wrote it) is a song i like and its the only one ive ever completed just not recorded yet...other than this weakness (so just listen to the lyrics...please :P ) it's rushed too :shake: im drunk right now and much braver than usual so check it while you still can :o

Life's Been Blurred (the song)

My old stoned face,
remember how it was?
Friends and lovers in hand,
parties till one
not a regret had
several tears were cried
many emotions tangled
but still the light
was all around whenever we needed it
it would be there
it would be there waiting

Did we create this life we know?
If so, how do I destroy it
and start over again
down where they seem to forgive

Everything all of a sudden became serious
and made less and less and less sense
although my mind knows more and my eyes
have seen it all before
life's been blurred

like a cataract that covers sight
our memories our pain
cloud our lights
life's been blurred
and the shit I smell
is all I know

Did we create this life we know?
If so, how do I destroy it
and start over again
with the same youthful activities
as when we were kids
when we were kids!!!!!!!
yeah!

I like it...but the guitar is louder than your voice though.
give it a little mix and it should come out real good.

How come when I read this title, I thought you were going to parody "Life's Been Good" by Joe Walsh?
