I am from Illinois and a week or so before the show, it popped into my wife's head that we should take a little vacation. We decided that nothing could be better than hittin the last show of the tour, in Beantown. Arrangements were made and we headed out on the saturday before. Stopped off at at the Rock and Roll HoF in Cleveland and checked out Niagara Falls real quick like. Picked up our tickets at an office in Salem, NH, headed straight to the venue. Met and hung with some kickass people before the show. *Despite the lame security, we managed to get some beers down and a couple j's smoked, in the private parking lot. Just had to be a bit careful.

Favorite moments

opening chords of Wash

last chorus of Animal where Ed tells the crowed "It's all you!" we nailed it

"I don't wanna be presumptuous but it seems we have all the ingredients for special show tonight, in Boston"

Corduroy is a pretty sick version

the tailgater reference from Ed was pretty cool

"His tastefulness is equaled by his shear muscularity" referring to Matt's solo

Satan's Bed

Education was much cooler live

The saturday/sunday confusion and even the speech that followed.

Glorified f'in G

That guy in the row in front of me that turned around and gave me about 15 high fives during the course of the night

Arc teaser was a nice little reference to Roskilde

Bee Girl was cool

Who You Are was off the handle, as I absolutely love that song.

"You sing like champions" Ed reference to the Celts was neat

Jeff sporting the Ray Allen Sonic jersey, the day before their move was announced

the Better Man crowd singalong was one of the best I've ever heard or been a part of plus the little SIFL tag

Garden was the better than any boot version I have heard. Mike's solo induced goosebumps

Finally gettin to hear Why Go since it made its comeback

No More was pretty cool with crowd participation

Mamasan, Footsteps was my favorite

Overall all it's prolly the best PJ show I have seen. Indy 00, 03, St Louis 03,04 VFC, and Chicago 03 being the others. Indy 03 is the only real close.
Interesting setlist, amazing crowd, fantastic playin with few, if any Ed flubs.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a great time. I would have loved to have heard 'Wash' and 'Satan's Bed'.

It's so strange to me how you say security was tight. Because it's laughable how weak it is in West Palm. We snuck in 4 "Brain of J's" They barely pat you down.

But, man, what a great vacation you had.

I had 4 J's at this show no problem. And 3 the night before.
