So I was thinking, Earth is pretty much the best place to live, and we should have a thread filled with the photos of the awesomeness that is our planet and the good things we have done here.

i saw the gorge when i was 17. ended up missing seeing PJ in pittsburgh in 03 (we actually flew back from spain the night they were there, but my mom didn't want to buy tickets in case our flight was delayed)
anyway, i'll dig up a picture of me standing next to the gorge (obviously, the pic is of me and not the gorge, but oh well.) i have to find the pic though first...

alright, now that i've looked at my pics, i don't know if it's the same gorge, but it is definitely a gorge in spain i know we were at the costa del sol for a few days, so who knows, it might be.

The northern lights are incredible and almost eery. We had a good showing in middle Michigan a handful of years ago during the winter. That was the first time I'd seen them.

I love the Northern Lights, I can still remember the first time I saw them.
I've been to both of these places and the pictures do not do it justice.
