San Diego -Probably the best Pearl Jam show I have ever attended and widely regarded as one of the highlights from the 2006 tour. The Long Road story and intro is truly priceless.

Sydney 1 (Syndey 3 gets all the hype but the band is ON FIRE the first night)

Santa Barbara - This show is not necessarily among the elite of the tour performance wise, but has the special acoustic set at the begining which makes it a stand out. Totally fucking awesome version of "Waiting on a Friend"

Honorable mentions: Pittsburgh and Dublin are also very cool shows. Dublin has the rare Inside Job opener and a fantastic "Its Ok" tag during Daughter.

That last Hawaii show is AWESOME. It's Matt's birthday and everybody's having fun. The band play their asses off.

i can give you my two must have's:
- Toronto CA May 10th (great show overall, great versions specially of You Are, Man of the Hour, and the most beautiful version of Yellow Ledbetter tagged with Beast of Burden plus eddie laughing the whole beggining of the song =) )
- Gorge June 22nd (because the better the mood, the better they play!) (unless you bought the whole Gorge CD set)

You won't be disappointed by the above.

I actually like the short sets where they opened for Tom Petty. Lots of energy and they played very well.

I also like the run up the West Coast. San Diego, San Francisco, Portland...

Yeah, St Paul I is a big favourite of mine (not such a big fan of the rest of them), such a perfect little set:

Last Exit, Life Wasted, Why Go, World Wide Suicide, Do The Evolution, Given To Fly, I Am Mine, Army Reserve, Even Flow, Better Man, Sad, Sleight Of Hand, Daughter/(I Won't Back Down), Jeremy, Comatose, Alive, Rockin' In The Free World

Grand Rapids, Reading, Lisbon 2 ( I preferred night 1 though)

runners up San Diego, SF 3, East Rutherford 1, Dublin, Milan, Newcastle, Sydney 3, Perth

I :heartbeat: Zagreb, favourite show that year, in top 3 ever, but I don't think the boot does it justice.

What I listen to most often:

San Diego- If you like Long Road, you need this show. If you don't like Long Road, you need this show. Heavy on Avocado (10 songs), but I'll be damned if you really notice it. The Rearviewmirror on here fucking scorches.

San Francisco I- Any of the SF shows are great, but I listen to this one a lot more. The Of The Girl on here is probably my favorite performance of the song. Mike's really into it. I'd take a look at the sets of these three shows and pick the one that best suits your taste because, like I said, you really can't go wrong with any of them.

St. Paul I- Glad to see the Petty shows get some attention. Even though they were short, I really enjoyed the St. Paul shows. A great mix of songs both nights, with something for everyone. Unfortunately we didn't get encores like the other four stops, but nonetheless they were still a hell of a lot of fun. Then Denver's has the distinction of having Benmont Tench on some tracks. The Milwaukee shows had pretty unique flows (Last Kiss opened a show!) with some real treats thrown in. They really seemed to go out of their way to make sure that even the die hards who were upset they had to pay twice as much for "half" the show got something special and unique. I really appreciated that, given that they could have just played the entirety of the reaviewmirror discs given the audience makeup.

You know, I was avoiding naming these shows on purpose as, y'know, I was there.

But yeah, both Adelaide shows - pretty fuckin' great.

I'll never forget being at San Diego and hearing the Long Road story. They could have ended the show right there and I would have been happy. It's too bad Ed forgot part of the lyrics but he made up for it pretty well. It was nice to finally hear Leash and Crown of Thorns too :)

Thanks to all of you for the information.

I have to say, so far, I've thoroughly enjoyed SF 1 and SD the most. Awesome stuff!

I'll vouch for the SD show being an AWESOME experience. My favorite is probably SF III though, great show.
