Not that it would ever happen but I'd be curious to hear studio versions of some of the reworked songs like WMA, Who You Are, Porch, In My Tree, etc. Of course I'd always prefer new music but if they felt like knocking out about 12 songs in the studio for a remix album of sorts I'm sure it wouldn't take long...

A solution to this is for them to pull off another Monkeywrench Radio. You'd hear live music without thousands of cheering fans. Radiohead set up in their studio and beamed it all over the world quite a few times to promote In Rainbows. I'd love to see a band like Pearl Jam do more stuff like this. Hell, its been a decade since the last one. It can't be that expensive to set up a webcast in Seattle.

not expensive at all if you have the studio to do it in. i suppose once you have the studio the most expensive thing would be the server it is hosted on.
on top of that they could also offer the feed on a sattelite channel to one or more of the major broadcating companies. for example is CBS picked it up any CBS station could run it. pearl jam could do it uncensored and in real time on the web while the individual terresterial radio stations run it in delay to watch for FCC violations.

and trent reznor, who has only written about 9 songs in a 20 year career

Satellite Radio would be a great forum for a PJ channel and play "live" in studio stuff. No worry about censorship either. I'm sure they could set up a studio in Seattle for it pretty easy.
