ever think Boston has the best fans? well let's prove it during these Ed solo shows by being quiet and giving Eddie the mellow vibe he is looking for. if you have any yahoos sitting near you yelling out shit like requests for Release and Yellow Ledbetter tell them to STFU too. The louder and more obnoxious we are in between songs the more ornery vedder's going to get.
So let's STFU and let others know that these are quiet shows in intimate venues, not full blown PJ arena rock spectaculars. who's with me?

Fuck, I might be the guy in the suit.
That thing needs to be dusted off anyway.
I have never been there before, but I would have to say no. Its not an opera you are going to see, its just at an opera house.

Taking my 5yr old daughter to the show sat night she is a huge fan and was wondering if the show was really loud? We are sitting 5th row. She is fired up!

awesome show; although too many a-holes screamed and yelled during arc...and other songs....
Yes too many a-holes screaming is right. There was not much banter between songs for the most part. I think that was partly due to Ed's sickness and partly due to the fact that we couldn't behave as a group.
I mean, he had to pause Arc as people are shouting all sorts of bullshit. I apologize because I turned around and yelled out 'shut up' after he paused during Arc. It was a real fucking shame and a complete lack of respect. I'm thinking we should show up Saturday with those "Quiet Please" signs they have at golf tournaments.
That said, the fella who yelled out "paging Dr. Vedder" was funny. Everyone else was a moron.
Great show and his voice sounded great to me, especially considering the sickness...

I've been in the front row at PJ concerts before, but I've never been this close. I sat three rows back, dead center, which beats any arena front row seat. sweet! almost got that flying guitar pick, too.
