I'm shocked, I'm actually genuinely impressed by this so far.

I can't believe the reviews this has been getting. Maybe I'll check it out, if I ever stop being lazy.

Hearing Henry Rollins talk about how he got involved and the what the experience was like was one of the more entertaining things I have ever heard.

I thought Shatner's 'cover' of Lucy In The Sky with Diamonds was the trippiest thing I've ever heard. V funny - only because it sucked so much. Haven't heard his recent stuff is it any good???

Listening to Shatner is one of those things where people either "get him" or don't "get him".

I totally "get him".

So I'm a little behind on this, but I just picked up the album yesterday and it's freaking awesome. I'd heard Common People & I Can't Get Behind That on the radio and thoroughly enjoyed them. I'm just shocked at how good the rest of the album is. I'm very, very impressed. Shatner obviously has a good sense of humor about himself, but he also writes some damn fine songs.

so, besides boldly going where no man has gone before, he also sings? something i wish i could check (it'll hardly be released here, on the "have to buy" list, then). ok, i confess, i used to think he was a hottie. but i was, what, like 5 years old...

It's not really singing. Think more spoken word with music and backing vocals.

I love this album. I still would like Shatner and Rollins to do a whole album together...

The song "Common People" does rule. Ben Folds is a mutha-humpin' tallented dood, too....

I DLed C.P., and may pick up the whole thing at some point in the future.

Bill Shatner is da man. 8)
