Cool.
YATQ was great but Ringleaders was a bit hit and miss - i like it, but i never find myself wanting to go back. I have no idea what to expect with this next one.

Holy shit, I can't believe Jerry Finn is dead. I always loved the sleekness of his sound. My teen years would NOT have been the same without the bands he produced.

Turns out that the news about Jerry Finn isn't true. The story that was given was that he was on life support following a brain hemorrhage and that he was taken off and had died. I guess he was taken off of life support, but not because he was getting worse. So he's alive but not doing that well.

Morrissey urges fans 'not to buy' new Hollywood Bowl DVD
Morrissey has disowned an upcoming live DVD - because he says it is being released without his permission.
'Live At The Hollywood Bowl' features a 22-song set of Smiths and solo songs, as previously reported by NME.COM.
However Morrissey has issued an angry statement to the True To You website, saying that Warner Music Entertainment, who are releasing the DVD, are doing so without his permission.
The full statement reads: "The slapdash release of 'Morrissey Live At The Hollywood Bowl' is done by Warner without any consultation to me whatsoever, and is in breach of their terms as laid out by themselves in an agreement made for the film between Warner and my ex-manager.
"Being Warner, predictably the sleeve art is appalling. It is the work of cash-hounds, and I urge people NOT to buy it. I am not signed to Warner, and no royalties from this DVD will come to me. Please spend your money elsewhere. Thank you, MORRISSEY."
The DVD is scheduled to be released on October 6.
