I can do flac/torrents/shn/mp3 etc BUT i just can't get these .rar files to burn to cdr

i use nero(new version) to burn and foobar to convert flac to wave...and mkw to convert shn to wave. i tried to covert .rar though foobar and mkw and it didnt work.

if anyone can please offer some advice as to how to convert .rar to wave, so i can burn to cdr...i would be so grateful! thanks!!

Think of RAR archives like ZIPs. You need to unzip/unpack/extract them to get to the files within.

unless its a ISO file, which you can extract with winrar, or burn directly as a image

what about unraring on a mac or linux? Any gui interfaces? I hate command line.

Never used unrar x. When I first switched to mac I needed to unrar and did a search and found stuffit. Never had a a problem.

If you're a KDE man, than karchiver is your choice (be sure to have the unrar package installed).
Under gnome, fileroller will do the same job at the same condition that unrar is installed
