well, if he wants to backup MP3s, or has a player that reads MP3 CDs, why not? no quality difference to converting the MP3 to wav and burning that. To listen in the car, a V0 works just as well anyway and you don't have to fiddle with CD every hour.
I use Nero to burn MP3 CDs, but I think you can just do it in Windows Media Player too.

oh yeah of course. A well meaning friend passed me a CD of the Leeds (which he attended and I didn't) bootleg shortly after it was released ...but had burned it from the mp3s..I can tell just by the gaps
