Death Cab just sent out an email correcting the list of dates theyre opening for Neil this fall, saying they are not opening the Oct 21 show in Everett. Then a friend noticed this on synergy: "Don't ask for my sources, there are still some details to be worked out, but I have it in good confidence that Pearl Jam are sharing the stage in a split bill with Neil Young on October 21st at the Comcast Arena in Everett, WA. Reason #1042 that I wish I lived in the Pacific Northwest."
Coming right after the fact that Death Cab sent out an followup email correcting their tour dates by axeing their slot for the Neil show on the 21st, this may have some credence. Stay tuned....

It's impossible to watch any band after Pearl Jam - and I love Neil Young. The only way it would work is if Neil opened for Pearl Jam which would never happen.
I'm excited for this NY tour though, I'll be going. And if they share the bill in Seattle I'll probably fly up for that even though I just panned it

well..good for the people in WA..though split bill means short set..and Neil on his own (non-entity opener) was charging over $150 this year in europe..

eh, dont' get your hopes up. death cab pulled the announcement because they are playing bumbershoot in a couple of weeks. bumbershoot management doesn't want them selling tickets to a different appearance before theirs happens. they'll announce the everett show opening for neil after labor day weekend
