So, I've lived in Seattle for about a year..I have been to the Green river reunion, the concert that mike and stone had celebrating the 100 years of the local market...but never got to meet the guys personally..until last week

when I got to El Corazon, Mike was outside, chatting casually with everybody that was present for the Flight to Mars concert.I ggot close to him and asked if he was mike..he said yes, and from that on I started to get really shaky(he's been my favorite Pj member ..I couldn`t help but be really nervous..he issuch a sweet guy..when he signed my Rearviewmirror cd. he wrote: "To N.... se you in Brazil!take care, Mike mccready"(I`m from brazil) he told me that the guitar that he broke at the VH1 rock honors was his, despite all the rumors on being Stone's (according to him, if that guitar was really stone's "he would have kicked my butt big time!" lol

we talked for about 10 minutes, until they called him to get inside..he put his hand on my shoulder and said "see you inside, have fun!"

the concert was just fantastic!it was evencooler when he gave me a water bootle during the show!"

thatmakes me admire him even most!

I only dream of meeting one of the guys...then I always know what to say but in real life I probably wouldn't ...I know I wouldn't.....
(I'm also a big fan of 30 Seconds To Mars...yeah i know...shoot me!...and then at Pinkpop I met the guys...and Jared Leto actually said something to me about my muse-shirt....(yeah I know ...I think their great....) and I just stood there with my mouth open and just looking into those beautiful big blue eyes with blacklining around them....I just was drowning.... ...

Mike definitely seems to me like the most approachable PJ member. He really does seem like the genuinely coolest guy in the band. Gotta love Mike. I certainly do, heh

Not that Ed and the other guys are not cool, or unapproachable, or whatever. But I think Mike would be the only guy I actually wouldn't feel intimidated by when talking to because of his openess and outgoing character. In my mind he somehow manages to be this guitar master and yet seem like just an everyday cool and kind guy in the conversation. There just doesn't seem to be that 'weight of character' associated with him, unlike with Ed, for example. At least that's how he's always been in my mind.

sorry, after reading some comments ..i forgot a little detail ..My name is Nathalya..that explains the N**** that I wrote on the post (for his autograph)

I`m laughing hysterically here, specially for the misunderstanding of the N*** word.

but yeah, for me it was just the collest thing that could happen. he makes you feel like you're his buddy...but i guess, what really happened that he really changed after his Rehab..and chron's disease..that made him see things in a different perspective..if you see some interviews in the past, he kinda looked pretty not -so- humble type of guy.

well,that is just my opinion
