After hearing so many good things about this film from ALL my friends, I finally broke down and watched Kung Pow-Enter The Fist last night.

I've never seen anything like it. The concept sounded so good, and for the first fifteen minutes I laughed, pardoning the awkwardly designed baby. Then it got old. Real old. The jokes kept repeating (the dog's off-bark and the woman going "WeeoWeeowee" were two things that became particularly grating) and the film itself became terrible.

Every single computer image in this film fell flat. Parts of this movie were intentionally made to look like cheese, but you can tell they were excited about their digital additions. I felt embarrassed for them. The quality was worse than Who Framed Roger Rabbit. This computer animation has to stop in films like these - I've laughed more at Gollum than I have for every digital moment in comedies combined.

All my friends talked up the cow scene. When the movie finally got there, I was hoping for a few more laughs before my brain burst open. What I got was quite possibly the worst scene I've ever witnessed in a movie. It wasn't even laughably bad at a campy level, because I could tell they weren't shooting for that type of humor. They tried so hard to make it a crowd-roaring scene. Once again I felt sorry for both them and my friends for thinking that this magnificent display of dumb was even remotely funny.

The flying triangles at the end made no sense. It didn't work on the abstract weird level that Homestar or Aqua Teen does - it was just plain poor. I couldn't believe some professional editor somewhere took a look at that scene and actually said "yeah, that's pretty funny! It'll have the crowds outta their seats!"

Unbelievable. Maybe I'm getting older and less in tune with "new" pothead humor, but then again I liked Napoleon Dynamite when I saw it a few weeks ago. This, though, makes Jar Jar Binks look like George Carlin.

You've actually heard good things about this movie from someone? The people I've talked to that have seen it, which is very few, had nothing but bad things to share. Never, ever, ever, ever have I considered watching this film. I remember the previews and thinking, "How is this not a straight to video release?"

Oh, it wasn't that bad. It's definately one of those movies you have to stoop down real low to enjoy, but it's still fun. It had its moments.

It wasn't bad in its first fifteen minutes. After that, though, it got old, kinda like a Saturday Night Live skit that goes on too long.

One of those movies where the trailer is about all you need to see.

I love it. One of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

The sequel comes out in '06.

i hate that movie with a passion

making a movie "intentionally bad" doesn't justify repetitive, childish humour

If I remember correctly, the 'Baby Got Back' scene was absolutely hysterical.

And the scene where the chosen one gets caught in the tiny net...awesome.
