How could you believe,
in light of recent past,
that this self-imposed retirement
could last?

You could easily blend in,
die your hair and change your name,
but I'm going to find you,
anyway.

There are places you can't go.
There are places you could stay.
What would I do if I were you, right now?
Pray.

Pray for malcontents.
Can they let these spirits go?
Soft breath on the back of your neck whispers,
"No."

Good song, Mcdigm. Alot of this sounds alot more "up front", mixwise, than Vol. I like it.

I could use some advice on this one. I've changed the name to Prayer for Malcontents, and I thought it'd be cool to have an echoed prayer-like chanting over the end with some reverb (I'm going to use the recording I have of a four man Russian choir I got to hear singing in a rural church outside Moscow as a template), but I'm not sure what other instruments to add to this song. I was thinking something akin to the Mountain Goats Baboon, but I just can't get it to work the way I want.

What instruments do you hear in there?!?

I wish I had something for ya. I'd trust your instincts more than mine, but when you mentioned a choir, I thought strings. Viola, Cello? Maybe starting out subtly and building as the choir enters and the track fades?

Sounds a bit GBV-esque to me, which is cool.
