Lets get this thing started...

the Scousers and the Gooners are in action at the moment in their qualifying games.

The Liverpool game has been pretty eventful so far and we're only 14mins into the game.

Shouldn't have been a penalty, justice was done with the Reina save

I predict the Barnsley scenario at Anfield. Standard is a really good team, especially considering their age. They're an example for the rest of our country. The axe of their midfield are all Belgian players of -23 years old. I usually wouldn't give 2 shits about it and I even laughed my ass off when fucking Anderlecht got knocked out in the 2nd round against Belorussian side BATE. But this is different.

good God I know Liege were well up for it but Liverpool were dire. Very few positives to take from it except that Reina kept a clean sheet.

Liverpool have a lot to lose tonight but they should win if they play up to scratch. Fingers crossed as I can see them being a bit nervy and underperforming.

Choosing between L'pool & Chelski is like choosing between Bush & McCain.

Nope. Man Utd and Liverpool are the chosen teams for the CL matches over here, so we might've gotten to watch some other team if damn Liverpool hadn't gotten through. Like Barcelona or Real Madrid for instance. A ban of English teams from European competition would be nice actually.

And I'd prefer Chelsea over Liverpool anyway. Scolari's teams are usually entertaining to watch.

an ok draw for Liverpool no top class opposition but no easy teams either. Bate just became my second team.

At least they drew one interesting team. Atletico was a class act last season in Spain.

Group H will be tough unless a majority of Zenit's better players are gone before the transfer window closes.

Group H is the tough one there, Arsenal's group isn't going to be easy either

It's definetly not a walkover. Marseille weren't too impressive vs Brann in the qualifiers, but they have some very talented players. And Atletico was the best team in the last seeding group without a doubt.
