Brad is a huge fan an current/former? RM-er. Maybe he's active more on BRY these days. I think he ran http://www.allthoseyesterdays.net which was one of the early download sites
(also, read the updates at the bottom of the link above)
Quote:
From the inbox: Baseball fan Brad Campeau-Laurion says a uniformed police officer (perhaps off-duty but working security for overtime) forcibly ejected him from the stadium last night during the Yankees-Red Sox game.
Why? He says all he did was try to go to the bathroom while "God Bless America" was played during the 7th inning stretch. His letter reads (plus some updates after the jump):
082708uppertier.jpg
"I attempted to get up to use the restroom, rather urgently, during the 7th inning stretch as God Bless America was beginning. As I attempted to walk down the aisle and exit my section into the tunnel, I was stopped by a police officer. He informed me that I had to wait until the song was over. I responded that I had to use the restroom and that I did not care about God Bless America
so i'm sitting in bed the other day watching morning news and saw the story, saying the guy was "Brad Campeau-Laurion". Well, how many "Brad Campeau-Laurion"sare there in this world! then they showed VIDEO ... and i was like "That's Brad!!!!"

What is the deal with Americans being forced to being patriotic to nobody except their country? If I got up to piss whilst god save the queen was being sung at a football match, for example, no one would care, because there is nothing illegal there, and even a nationalist wouldn't say anything.
Is it the law? Part of the patriot act?

No it's not a law, and the guy wasn't arrested he was ejected from the stadium. It's still bullshit, he just ran into a douchebag cop who overstepped his reach.

this story made WFAN the day after it happened and 15 people who say they were seated in the section this guy was in said he was a drunken asshole who only got tossed after he stood up on his chair and was screaming swears at one of the officers.
if thats true fuck him, he got what he deserved. these guys dont eject fans for no reason. fuck, once in the upper deck I was so drunk I called one of the cops who made a comment about me a "stupid spick rent-a-cop" and didnt get ejected. i doubt this dude is as innocent as he says he is
