Just got back from the show.

Here's the setlist. 3 songs

1. Hide Your Love Away
2. Don't Be Shy
3. Master of War (with Mike)

Ed had a bit in between one of the songs, I can't remember which one (might've been after they'd finished) about hearing bush INSISTING this monring that there won't be a draft, then joking the following bush quote "we've got a vol-un-teeer AR-MEE", then asking the crowd "who the fuck is gonna wanna volunteer for Bush's disaster" or something to that effect. When the set was over, ed took the podium with a long speech about Michal Moore, about how, when they started as a band his CIA file was *this big* (3 inches), and the fact that they now have a whole wing devoted to Moore. Which is a good thing, and shows Moore is really making a difference. After talking about the patriot act, and the fear of bush setting the Patriot Act II in motion (information about which, including damning information detailing the danger of the Bush administration's incompetence -- can be found on "the internets") if he gets the reelection, Ed introduced Moore as "a Patriot who acts".

Overal a superb evening. Ed and Mike's appearance caught me completely by suprise.

This is already being discussed here.

what is it with conservatives and killing? Moore now has to travel with a large team of body guards.

Wouldn't you be ashamed if your party attracted people who

- shot Martin Luther King Jr.
- shot people from a Texas Tower
- death threats for Dixie Chicks

please add to the list of the great conservative movement of killing leftist thinkers!

"Last night brought us to Seattle, before an audience of almost 12,000 at the Key Arena. The evening’s festivities started with a performance by Pearl Jam legend Eddie Vedder, who covered the Beatles classic, “Hide Your Love Awayâ€

Isn't it funny how we all hope and think Ed's going to turn up at all these events now? I'm going to see Michael Moore tomorrow night in State College, PA and I'm praying Ed will show. Yeah right. I can dream...

Shows how popular he is... about as popular as Bush.
