Where's the love for this movie? One of my all time favorites. You'll never have another movie where Ben Affleck and Vin Deisel give great performances in the same movie again. Even the lead guy who sucks in everything else he's ever done is good.

I hate Ben Affleck, but I love this movie. I think he gave a solid performance.

Good performances all around. This movie was severely underrated. Vin and Giovani smooth talkin people on the phones was fuckin fantastic.

And a great line from Affleck too:
"Anybody who tells you money is the root of all evil doesn't fucking have any."

Great movie. This another great line.

that's because he's a douche and he was playing a douche.

still, great movie. it's not the new wall street (as they were claiming it to be), but pretty darn good.

actually, just remembered something that bothered me about ribisi's character, than scene where he cries in front of his dad, regarding the bike incident, it kind of seems forced.

but other than that, good film.

i kinda like that scene cause it reminds me of moments i had with my dad. However, i was like 18 at the time and the character in the movie has gotta be at least 22 and crying like a baby.

I'm not sure that it was directly based off it, but there's certainly been lots of comparisons made to the two bits over the years. That Affleck's speech was at the very least an homage.

can't even compare affleck to baldwin's memorable performance

I think there's a lot of similaritty in Goodfellas/Casino- Glengarry Glenross/Boiler Roonm. They're all great movies and rip off better movies but that doesn't mean Casino anmd Boiler Room aren't good.
