Anyone have any thoughts on this guy? I occasionally tune in his program, usually for no longer that 5 min or so because to me he comes off as a condescending prick. The topper was last night when he spent 5-10 min. discussing the off the cuff remarks that Chris Rock made about the Oscars that it seems the bottom feeders of the news industry have decided to turn into a story. Any shred of credibility he might have had with me went right out the door at that point.

Do you not see the irony in that? Or neither should I?

Yeah, I guess you got me. Except I don't reach an audience of millions and spoon feed them my political opinion as if it's the word of God.

Scarborough is certainly smarter and better than Goebbels' wet dreams Hannity and Limbaugh, although he has certainly lied and stretched the truth plenty. I find him more tolerable because he is actually willing to criticize Republicans when they stray from his idea of conservative ideology.

I never watched his show...the only time I've seen him is on the special editions of hardball...every time he was about to say something...surprise surprise, he was interrupted...so I really don't have an opinion either way, other than he was a fairly forgettable member of congress.

I tuned into his show once...he was polling his viewers regarding whether the tsunami was an act of God to punish the people of India and southeast Asia. After that, I don't think I could stand to watch anymore. :?

Are you serious? He had a poll like that on his show?

Yes he did. I even went online and voted. I was afraid to see what the poll results would be. I was a bit relieved when the results showed 80% of voters had voted "no". But still, even 20% seems ridiculously high.

Not when you consider who makes up most of his audience.

That's why I was relieved to see what the percentages were...I was thining 50-50 at best. But when you really think about it, those 20% are essentially saying that God is a murderer.
