EDDIE VEDDER'S SONG FOR THE CHICAGO CUBS AVAILABLE NOW
At the request of Ernie Banks, Eddie threw together a song for the Cubs ("All the Way"). He got a pretty good live version of it at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago this August. It's now being played on Chicago radio and at the Bleacher Bars around Wrigleyville. We have decided to make the song available for download - you can get it at http://www.pearljam.com right now. There's a chance we'll also make available some hard copy CDs and we're looking into souvenir 45 singles, as well. Check back at pearljam.com for the latest. Go, Cubs, go!
Also check out, fresh from the road, Eddie Vedder merch from his August '08 solo outing is now available in the Pearl Jam Good's section.
STONE GOSSARD DEBUTS NEW MUSIC FROM FORTHCOMING SOLO PROJECT
New music from Stone will be available as streaming live music videos along with downloadable audio tracks at http://www.pearljam.com/stonegossard , a newly launched site that will be an ongoing resource for Stone's music and special projects. The initial release will include Stone's debut tune "Your Flames" (studio track) with one live music video and a corresponding live audio track. Check back September 24th and October 1st for additional, exclusive live video and audio tracks.
Jeff Ament's debut solo project, "TONE", is available now at select U.S. CIMS stores (http://www.cimsmusic.com/). "Tone" features ten original tracks by Jeff culled from more than fifty-plus "works in progress." Penned over the last eight years, the final collection offers a look into Ament's world of early life in Montana and how it has shaped his music. Much like Jeff's own life story, TONE tells the tale of a group of characters from a small town in Montana and their slow integration into life in the big city. The album emerged from his desire to take care of "unfinished business;" taking the original works and paring them down to a batch of like-minded and introspective songs.
Harrybu McCage, the jazz trio assembled by Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron, has released their self-titled debut CD. Joining Cameron in the all-instrumental outfit are keyboardist and guitarist Ryan Burns and bassist Geoff Harper (Herbie Hancock, Bill Frisell). Cameron also contributes guitar. Released on Pearl Jam’s own Monkey Wrench label, Harrybu McCage features 10 songs, including the originals “Rhodes Jam” by Cameron and “Jetskiing on Priest Lake” by Burns.
A new space has been created at the Ten Club Headquarters called the 10C Digital Lounge. All Pearl Jam & Ten Club digital content is now flowing through this space, powered up and thoroughly connected. In fact, this transmission is coming to you direct from the Lounge right now. So look for more updates coming from the 10C Digital Lounge in the coming months, we hear talk of big changes and flipped over apple carts. An exciting time for all involved is guaranteed.
We here in the 10C Digital Lounge have seen and heard some interesting things this past week:
- All week through the walls of the Digital Lounge we've been hearing Matt Cameron pounding out some HEAVY rock with a couple of mystery collaborators.
- The crew here has been digging through some amazing Pearl Jam artwork and goodies from '91-92. We're trying to figure out what we can do with it but we're sure we can come up with something. Don't ya think? Stay tuned.
- Could it be that a new DEEP magazine is nearing completion? I believe in miracles!
I have found a way to combat the fact that tc emails don't always come on time - sign up to be given an email alert from MySpace every time PJ posts a new blog. TC may not send them on time, but MySpace never misses one. Not perfect, but it keeps me in the know.

I get the emails but not the Deep magazine. I emailed them about missing the last one and they told me that they would fix it but it would take up to 7 months to receive.
Really? Seven months for Tim to walk in the back and put one in an envelope?
