I'm not the biggest baseball fan in the world but I'm going down to Orlando over spring break. Of course I'm going to see Mickey (first time since I was 3 years old), but I also got tickets to see the Braves/Mets game on the 6th. Has anyone ever been to any spring training games? If so I have a few questions:
What can I expect as far as who will be playing? Will the stars play most of the game or is it like football preseason where they only play a bit and then put the scrubs in? Also, how easy is it to get autographs? MLB.com has info on every spring training ballpark on where to be to get autographs, but it doesn't really say if they do that after every game.
Anyway, I'm excited for this since it has been a while since I've been to a baseball game.

sounds like a lot of fun.
as for your questions the only one i can try to answer is the one about autographs. i went to some spring traning games way back in 89 or 90 and after the game we just waited outside the club house for like an hour and everyone came out to sign autographs. there was a big group of people waiting, and the players seemed to be expecting it, though some didnt want to and just walked past everyone saying no autographs. but back them most were cool with it.
im not sure now a days, but the stadiums should still be set up to where the players have to come out right where you can wait, and they wont have all the stuff in the locker rooms to keep the players there for long after the game, so they will be leaving soon after
