If you don't give a shit then why go on this thread then?

People who work hard to give quality stuff away don't then expect this gift to be sold for profit and be ripped off by money hungry pricks, is that ok?

How do you "work hard" to "give quality stuff away"? If I get some good bootleg footage or a good ten club ticket or something, I'd rather see how much money I could get for them. It's simple economics. Supply and Demand.

This argument has been had on here before I am not going to do it again. Some people like to take advantage of the generosity of others, if you are like that then so be it.

The ultimate question is:

Why stick your nose in other people's business.

You really have to wonder how much money there really is to be made on illegal e-bay auctions, don't you?

Why not just get involved in spam distribution or Nigerian e-mail scams or something? Gotta be more money in it, after postage and Paypal fees and all.

Remember the movie "The Sting"? That was the shit. Those guys had a proper scam figured out, and it was awesome.

I loved Paul Newman. I'm sad he's gone. If someone on ebay was selling a bootleg copy of "The Sting" I reckon I'd "Buy It Now!!"

Whoa, that's what you've made?
A pal of mine sells Smashing Pumpkins boots, helps pay his mortgage with it.
Sure, you can get the shit for free, but lots of people are willing to pay for it.

Is it so wrong for fans to try and keep other fans from getting ripped off?

How is someone getting ripped off if they're willing to pay for it? I don't see how this is immoral at all

90% of the cds i use to sell went to rural parts of the country or other countries. Bolivia, and Chili were great. I'm assuming these are places that don't have or can't afford broadband internet. there were MANY VERY GREATFUL people.

I'm just saying, if someone can get something for free, why let them throw away their money? And if the sale is against e-bay community standards, when what leg does the seller have to stand on?
