Forgive me if I'm making a duplicate thread but I'm having an issue with portforwarding. I use Transmission version 1.21 for mac and a Linksys WRT110 router. I've set up portforwarding based on that popular portforwarding tutorial site. Transmission is still telling me they are unable to check my port status and I can't get any of my torrents to seed. I just got an account at what.cd and I really am worried about my ratio. I don't want to be banned in 2 weeks for havign a -infiniti ration. What do I do!?!?!?!?!?!

This is fucking weird. If I get a torrent from a public site, I can seed it back fine. Still nothing on what.cd.

most what.cd torrents have no-one leeching.
I have about 150 active and most of the time, 0 activity on them.
the way to built up a ratio effectively is uploading new torrents (get some flacs up and you'll be up in no time)

if it works with public trackers, ports are not your problem.

Maintaining ratio on What is not an easy task if you actually like download stuff. I find on other trackers like Demonoid or whatever I can eaisly keep above 1 but on what I struglle to get past 0.4

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. I don't have any problems seeding at a place like demonoid or a Bruce Springsteen torrent site, but at what my ratio is horrible. I'm currently on ratio watch. I uploaded an album but the person trying to get it from me can hardly ever stay connected. It's been a few days or so, and only about .338 of that album has been downloaded from me.

Not a single byte of data has been seeded on my what account and it's starting to piss me off.

I was like that for awhile. Well uploading was occurring but at an insignificant pace. The leech helped me out tremendously, but I'm not at .12 and have downloaded over 5 gigs. That means I really need to get this damn album upped. At one point 2 people were trying to get it yet I've upped .338 of it. :shake:
