don't know if i'll buy this one - as far as i'm concerned he never topped Acadie

He played here in St. John's tonight and I have to say it was fantastic. His band was held up at the border, so it was just Lanois solo with the odd appearance from some backup vocalists. I took my father and even he was impressed.

I met Lanois after the show and he was very courteous, if a little timid. I also picked up the Goldtop Edition of Acadie which was autographed. All in all a very nice evening.
