SCORNED WOMAN'S CRUEL CUT

February 22, 2005 -- ANCHORAGE — A cold-blooded Alaska woman sliced off her boyfriend's penis after he broke off their relationship, authorities said yesterday.
But the unidentified victim, like world-famous penis-amputee John Wayne Bobbitt, may still make the cut in bed — doctors were able to sew the severed organ back on.

The attack occurred around midnight Saturday, after the 44-year-old man argued with alleged knife-wielder Kim Tran about their impending breakup.

It seems he was already married to her aunt, the Anchorage Daily News reported, and apparently made the decision that three's a crowd.

At some point, he agreed to have sex — and allowed his soon-to-be-ex to tie his arms to a windowsill.

The 35-year-old woman severed his penis with a kitchen knife, cops said.

She then untied him, drove him to a hospital and was cleaning up the scene when police arrived.



Then she added insult to injury.

Unlike Lorena Bobbitt, who merely flung John's penis out her car window in Virginia 11 years ago, Kim flushed her boyfriend's organ down the toilet.

Utility workers found it after two hours, put it on ice and rushed it to the hospital, where it was reattached.

Doctors would say only that the surgery was successful.
