Looks like Slash is doing a solo album that will have different singers on each song. I'm betting Chris Cornell would join in and wondering if Ed would consider it at all... probably not?
The article also mentions the ongoing search for a new singer for Velvet Revolver. Slash mentions that some of the interest in the position has come from singers that many would find "surprising". Interesting... he goes on to say that it would be hard to create an original sound with someone who is established with another band. I bet CC was among those interested... wonder what that would sound like.

Well, Cornell already made an album with Timbaland so I guess him participating on a slash album would be considered as a step in the good direction (and that's quite sad to consider that singing on a slash is a step in the good direction)

Slash has slagged Pearl Jam off on a few occasions, I imagine that Ed wouldn't be on his list.
What has been said?
Sorry, I can't remember offhand. I remember one was an interview where he was discussing how when he was in GnR that after UYI Axl wanted them to write songs like Pearl Jam.

Axl Rose is a fan? I don't know why but that shit makes me happy.
I don't see Eddie singing on a slash album. If the music is anything like the little VR I've heard, he might as well just cover Interstate Love Song with the dudes from Local H.

Ed is way to concerned with his image to play with Slash....he'd sing with some indie band but never Slash....CC already did the super group thing he's trying to be a solo act now...
