Thought I'd start this thread to track the appointments when they'd come in.
Anyone have any preferences? I think I'd still be down with Richardson for State.

This is always exciting to think about/watch happen. Looks like Rahm Emanuel will be his Chief of Staff, which is great. I think Emanuel is an exciting guy. I agree with you that there will be a place for Bill Richardson somewhere. I also think he'll make room for Tom Daschle. If he wants to appoint any Republicans, as I assume he will, I don't see him choosing a Senator. He's going to want as many moderate Republicans on his side as he can, so that it doesn't look like this is just a government of the Democratic Party. If he chooses a Republican cabinet member, I think it might come from the House or state politics. I've heard Schwarzenegger for Energy, but I don't see that happening. I think that he'll keep Paulson in the Treasury for at least the beginning of his first term.

no one is really republican right?? I mean I voted yesterday, for Obama of course. But I mean, I'm only 19. I always thought Republicans were kind of just made up. Right? Right? amirite? amirite?

i don't know why, but of all the threads to post this in, this one just seems very out of place

I've heard Caroline Kennedy could be the Ambassador to the UN, and that Robert Gates might stay on as department of Homeland Security, if not then Chuck Hagel

How about Bill Cosby?
Why pick Bill Cosby when you get some prime tail like OPRAH.
