they've been shopping him for a while with only a few teams willing to swallow his contract. the kings got shit in return. all of those crap players have long term contracts as well, so i dont know what the hell the kings are doing. AI must be going nuts in Philly....

ESPN Insider
The Sacramento Kings and Philadelphia 76ers have completed a deal that will send Chris Webber, Matt Barnes and Michael Bradley to the Sixers for Kenny Thomas, Corliss Williamson and Brian Skinner, two league sources told ESPN Insider Chad Ford.

i love kenny thomas. he's a great shooter. Corliss has played well for us too...but Chris Webber and AI...this is intriguing...

G- Allen Iverson
G- Andre Iguodala
C- Samuel Dalembert
F- Chris Webber
F- Kyle Korver

im excited. :D

i think this pretty much guarantees and gives credability to the Sixers being the 3rd seed in the east. i think they've got a great shot now to come out of the east.

and if Glenn Robinson decides to ever suit up we'll have him coming off the bench. oh theres finally hope for the Sixers. :D i love it.

This is a great move by the Sixers. AI & Webber could make a fantastic pair.

Probably about an 80-90% chance Big Dog is going to New Orleans

yea i heard that too but it was supposed to be a package deal and the Sixers have no one else theyre gonna part with now. Korver, Willie Green, and the other young guys are all untouchables.

Glenn Robinson for Rodney Rogers would be nice but salary wise it wont match up now. im just hoping Glenn swallows his pride and backs up Kyle Korver.

i cant fucking sleep. im excited now. Sixers finally have a chance. Webber has something like 3 triple doubles in the past 2 weeks and two almost-triple doubles. he's been playing insane lately.

philly finally has a chance.
our new roster :D

Chris Webber F
Samuel Dalembert C
Kyle Korver F
Andre Iguodala G-F
Allen Iverson G

Marc Jackson C-F
Matt Barnes F
Michael Bradley F
Josh Davis F
Willie Green G
Aaron McKie G
Kevin Ollie G
Glenn Robinson* F
John Salmons* G
Kedrick Brown* G-F

*injured list

when i saw this at the bar i thought i was really fuckin drunk, but the sixers really did something. the whole ride home i was thinking they had to have given up korver, but i thank god i was wrong. w/ webber on board and AI having maybe his best season ever, the sixers have as good a shot as any of winning the east.

who made the finals the last time iverson won mvp of the all star game?

Sweet, i've been waiting for years for AI to get a few good players on his team and all though I'm not a big Webber fan he is a damn good player.

it'll be interesting to say the least, now iverson can't run him out of town like he has every other legit player the sixers have brought in...can he?

there is hope for the sixers.

that IS surprising. I am not a 76ers fan at all, but I am excited to see CWebb and AI work it together...should be cool.

I also excited to check out Zo and Shaq. Once Rivals, now teammates. Groovy!

As a resident of Atlanta, don't expect "Big Dog" to ever suit up.

Should be good for you guys though, AI's been wanting another solid scorer. I pretty much hate pro basketball but I love the way AI plays.

yea i dont have my hopes up on Big Dog playing. id rather the Sixers not even trade him tho even if he doesnt play. his 12million a year contract expires this year.

I don't want Robinson to play or them to trade him. Let him miss the entire year and let the contract expire. The guy has missed hald the season with a sprained ankle. the guy is a bum.

I love the trade, I've always been a fan of Weber.

He sure is a bum. I remember back in high school (when i was a big NBA fan) he was super hyped. The first $100 million contract player, right?
