I love my Mom, but if she tried to friend me on facebook I'd shut down my whole account. Why you might ask? Because she would be over analyzing my page all the time and then calling me on the phone to lecture me about everything and anything. And we're not talking about a 5 minute lecture. We're talking about a 'there goes all my daytime minutes this month' lecture.

*sigh* Love my Mom. She's the best. Always there for me, even when I don't need her to be.

Personally I think that if parents are going to add their kids on facebook they have no right to complain about anything they see.

I've accepted a ton of my aunts and uncles on facebook, so whatever's on there will probably get back to my parents anyway, but I run a pretty tight facebook regardless because of my job, so no one can see photos tagged of me and I don't discuss drinking or drug use or use explicit profanity, and I don't have my religious views on facebook, so I can't imagine anything else that could be bad for my parents to see.

Regardless, they're totally computer retarted and couldn't figure out hotmail for a while, so I doubt I'll ever have this problem.

my mum has only just learnt about the internet, she sends me emails with the subject 'mum online' and that freaks me out enough, hopefully I won't ever have to worry about her on fartbook.

My mother recently figured out texting, she texts me stuff like "THIS IS MUM HOPE YOURE DOING WELL HAVE A GREAT WEEK LOVE MUM XOXOXO".

As if my phone didn't say "1 new text from Mum's Cell". Still, it's cute, so I don't tell her to stop.

mums are cute, when my smother rings me up on my mobile phone she still says 'hi lovey, its me, mum', like i couldn't pick her melodic voice from the many others that call me 'lovey'
