Jeff Ament was on the Cort and Fatboy show to talk about the reunion of the fully reunited Green River playing in Portland next week. Highlights include the possibility of Green River working on a new album (!!!), Pearl Jam making preparations to hit the studio for a new record with Brendan O'Brien (!!!), the lyrics of "Yellow Ledbetter" and that lyrics video on Youtube the lack of NBA action in Seattle.

Bad news: Stone had to bow out, so we won't have anything with him tonight.

However, we will still be talking to mark Arm and Jack Endino. We're supposed to have Chris Cornell on as well, but he's having voice issues and doesn't want to wreck it talking to us. We're waiting to hear if that will happen.

Also, we should be talking to Eddie Spaghetti from the Supersuckers tomorrow. I'll keep you updated.

You should ask why he decided to throw all taste out the window and start writing and recording american idol pop music

To indicate a combination of surprise, excitement and interest without writing "yay" or "neato." (!!!)

Fair enough. So what's the Portland market like? Have there been lots of layoffs this past month where you are?
