My girlfriend and I are planning on getting married in May 09 and are looking for places to honeymoon. San Francisico, Australia, and london are the places we have chosen and I am leaning towards London.

Any advice on hotels, transportation, etc. I know the Hard rock cafe in london is a must. I love HRC and go to them all over the US. I would like to do the one in Manchester too but not sure how far away it is and the best way to get there?

We are leaning towards a Marroitt hotel. Any advice on anything would be much appriciated.

As a resident, the easiest way to get around London is The Tube, but a Black Cab is a bit more stylish. Manchester is the opposite end of the Country and is either a very long, expensive train ride or a five hour drive. Personally I wouldn't bother.

Hard Rock Cafe? Why not go to things they only have in London?

In comparison, London is all grey skies and constant drizzle, and the choice of food is between fish and chips, and bangers n mash.

Wait, why is it that I'm moving there again?

HRC isn't a deciding factor or anything, just if I am there I will def hit it up.

I would love to go to Sydney but I really couldn't handle the plane ride. Too Long

I'd rather live in the 'land of fucked up teeth' than Obesity World or Redneckville.

See, I can stereotype too. Idiot.

London is a great town. Londoners will step over your bleeding corpse in the street, so they kinda leave a lot to be desired but as a town it's a great place. Never lived there but visit a lot. I'm going on monday actually :)
You'll love it!

You should look up the museum hostel. It’s located in central London. You’re only a brief tube ride from Piccadilly square, Bloomsbury square, the Thames, and the amazing Trafalgar Square. Plus, you can’t go wrong with a place that’s run by Aussie's and kiwi’s (New Zealander’s). It’s pretty cheap, especially considering your location.

Hey, I'm just giving advice. I'm not dictating anything. I know some people who wouldn't mind at all, and others who would turn their nose up at the idea. Everyone's different. I mean shit, it's not like the place lacks private rooms and belongs in Eli Roth horror flick.
