someone on a ryan adams forum recommend i listen to them and i got a few songs today. sounds like a modern version of dylan or the band. i'm really digging Frankie's Gun. i think they have an album coming out.
i got the cd already because i pre-ordered it, it does sound a lot like dylan, which isn't really what they sounded like live, but oh well. they have two live eps out as well you can probably find. they really put on a good show, i am going to see them again in april.

i got a few random songs, most of them are folky but Frankie's Gun rocks. Do they have other songs that sound like this?
Awesome... At Mountain Jam this past May, well actually it was June on Sunday; my buddy and I were about halfway up the hill when we heard a band kick-in hard and caught the lyrics "I put some whisky in to my whisky." We ran down the hill and got to the stage before the song was over, the band looked to be having a great time and their energy was by far the best of the day. Get home, back to work, snag some music of artists I saw for the first time over the weekend.. their album has been in my Walkman ever since. Great, great folky rock. I snagged tickets for their (at the time) last show of the tour at Spiegeltent's last night in NY. The boys absolutely rocked, and were completely worth hanging around in the city until the first train back to CT at 5:30am. Nice to see the interest pop-up here.

I just snagged Through These Reins and Gone from what.cd, I'll preorder the disc from Team Love. I really wish these guys added a CT date, hopefully they'll show up on the Mountain Jam schedule due April 1st.

I've had a downloaded copy of "Iantown" for about two years now, only downloaded because the cd s not in print and there are not too many out there. Last copy I saw on ebay was atleast 6 months ago and sold for 80 dollars. "Iantown," as someone mentioned earlier, is one of the greatest recordings ever. I also really love their "Mixtape" ep. Highly recommended both of those
FLACing as I type but listened to this a few times Sunday, was doing shit around the house so not a dedicated listen, but I definitely dug it. I'll be tossing my rip on in a few for a proper experience.
Hope these guys add a CT date at some point in their travels.
