I suppose if you've seen one UFO special, you've seen them all. People swearing to have seen something....others swearing that it is just some natural phenomenon.

Any RM'ers seen anything?

Sounds like ABC slumming for ratings.

Once I thought I saw a UFO landed in the middle of a field. It was like 4 in the morning and I was being driven to Erie PA. I saw a huge glowing circle in the middle of a field out the window and almost pissed myself. I almost screamed and my mom just laughs at me like she sees giant, glow in the dark circles in crops every day. She tells me it was just phosphorus-probably a mushroom farm. I still only half believe her lol

Thats Erie for ya

I don't buy any of these people's shit. If aliens can reach here so easily, we'd know about it.

I also was scared shitless as a kid of UFOs from Unsolved Mysteries and specials

I taped it, and just got done watching it. I have been interested in the paranormoal since i was like 6 years old, I never seen a t.v. special as good as this one. If this special didn't make you a least bit interested, I would be one surprised individual.

When you have cops, air force, scientists and reasonable people telling their stories, you can't help to wonder.

I didn't see it, but if scientists said it, it's true.

i think its fairly egotistical for anyone to believe in the big universe that is, that we are the only intelligent life forms out there

I agree with that, but in the same respect I think its fairly egotistical to think "other lifeforms" would want to contact us.

I think it's pretty naive to believe that if other intelligent life had figured out how to get to Earth that they would sneak around fucking rednecks in the ass and not just meet with our leaders. Oh wait! There's that prime directive thing. I forgot.

The only odd thing I've seen in the sky was in the middle of the night, I was driving home and saw this giant fireball, it was like some aircraft had exploded and turned into a smoldering fireball leaving a visible orange streak across the sky. A friend of mine was with me and saw it too. I'm sure it had nothing to do with, uh, people from other planets, but there was no mention anywhere about it on the news or any other source. Was pretty strange because it was pretty brilliant in the sky and the trail in the sky was visible for at least an hour.

Sounds like a perfect description of a meteor entering Earth's atmosphere.

Yeah, that seems really ridiculous, but on the other hand we have absolutely no idea how an alien race would behave.

No doubt many of the UFO stories are false, mistakes, made up (or people seeing meteors ;)) or whatever, but there's also no doubt that in my mind that people are simply to quick to dismiss some stories because once you allow yourself to think that there may be something to them, you expose yourself to all kinds of mocking remarks and you're very likely to be labeled as a weirdo.

I've seen meteor showers before. This was nothing like that. I suppose it could have been a pretty large meteor, but there was no mention of anything in the news or media.
