"we await a response from eddie vedder"

obviously they haven't followed the band much to know they don't do the "fighting via the media" thing.

It's about time somebody pointed out what an arrogant prick Eddie Vedder is.

Wow, that's really absurd that Corgan would say that. Regardless of how the song is, how would the song "curse" the Cubs? How did it stop them from winning? Billy needs to shut the fuck up.

I know I'm just gonna look like a homer pj fan, but Billy Corgan is a douchebag.

You're probably right, but he might have a point about him making the song to begin with. Being a lifelong Red Sox fan I can remember in early 2004 when we signed Curt Schilling and in his press conference he called a world series victory. No matter how good the odds look in your favor, when you're dealing with a sports team that hasnt won in almost a century, you don't say shit til it happens.

That's why the lyrics of the song are "someday we'll go all the way," not "this year we'll go all the way."

Symantics, we all know what he meant.

I was waiting for a scathing critique of Ed and....meh, one little comment. Oh well. As an aside, perhaps it was just my speakers (more likely the recording), but Billy had a Lou Holtzish lisp.
