I just downloaded this...its the 2008/09 version of Commando. Liam Neeson kicks ass. The movie is ok.

He's from the UK. That trumps all.

saw it earlier. it was alright. nothing spectacular, but was a decent movie

i thought he was able to put "pieces of the puzzle" together pretty fast though. i mean i know he's "ex CIA", but he is given a clue of "a house with a red door" and he suddenly knows exactly where to go in the heart of paris? was there only one house with a red door?

Neeson ain't from the UK he is Irish.
Funny film. Basic idea: Europe is a terrible scary place stay at home in good old America.

Saw it.

Loved it.

Agree with the Commando reference.

It doesn't pretend to be anything other than it is - which is just a stupid action movie. But it's awesome.

Good flick but needed longer fight sequences a la Jason Bourne. The bad guys are supposed to be real bad asses and Neeson took them down often with one blow.
At least Bourne did 3 or 5 quick moves to finish the guy.

Also, they blew the all the good lines in the trailer. That speech he gives the guy on the phone about finding him and killing him was just dull once I saw the movie as they'd been running trailers since the fall for this.

Yeah, that was one hell of an oversight.
