I agree. This version is incredible. Ed's voice owns this song here and the music is spot on.
Go to PearlJamLive.com and listen to Do The Evolution from the first night of the 2000 European tour and then listen to a version from just a few nights later. Ed tears it up almost like its 1998 on that first night but then clearly realizes that he can't sing this song how he used to anymore as he is exhausted by song's end and has to tone it down for all of the remaining shows of the 2000 tour.

Being an Elvis fan, Ive always been partial to Nashville 03... "I am the first man to dance like Elvis yeah... Its Elvis-lution babyyyyyyyyyyy"
I used to have a version on my old PC from 98, that Matt simply dominated... But I forget which show it was from as my old PC died and took that mp3 of DTE with it...
as for Daughter... so many bloody different versions... Lo2L is great with RITFW Missoula 03 with its speed St Louis 03 with its extended jam some of the European 2000 ones had great jams as well, great guitar work the one with Hey Hey My My at the end? believe it was SNL? or a rehersal?

even though it's just a second long snippet, my vote goes out to that brief scream you hear on SVT right after Mike states how scary Ed's intensity can get on stage. Would love to know what show that snippet is from and how the full version sounds. It's mental, even for that short short moment

If you can ever dig up the Porland '98 show, check it out. Easily, my favorite version of DTE. I believe this is the only show where they actually played the video on the background, while performing the song
