Im gonna dish out on a good SATA drive, maybe even 1TB. But i dont think my student loan was for that ;p

Well, just remember to back your stuff up this time. It may take a little of time, but if you do it as you go you'll find that it's a lot easier. It's well worth it.

Yeah im going to buy loads of blank dvds and make some data dvds. If i get a b + p this time i can actually have some sort of back up.

What I do is watch the weekend ads and whenever I see the dvds I use go on sale, I stock up. Right now I'm in need of a sale on Sony or TDK DVD-R. But I'm in the USA. I don't know what it's like where you are. There is probably something like that though, I'd think.
