You’ve triumphed And maturity has come to you all Your days of shoplifting are long gone and There’s a child on the way
I don’t mean to put this in the wrong light but Raise the crystal wine glass up Until it illuminates the entire ballroom The glare of the chandelier shines right through
Your tired, I was tired, Hunter was tired Persevere most of us must climb this spiral staircase Until adolescence hits us a second time And the chandelier comes crashing down
Who could have seen this coming Who could have prepared us When we had all the tools we needed all along Who could have forced my hand To do such terrible things When I held love directly in my palm

thanks bro i kinda really wanted someone to recognize this one.
I pretty much like it all but the Hunter line, which even has incorrect grammer. And I have mixed feelings about the last stanza, it feels cliche of me to end it like that. But yer I was pretty proud of this one.
