unreal how many legends played in this game...the golden age of basketball.

EAST ALL-STARS (149)

Larry Bird
Dominique Wilkins
Moses Malone
Julius Erving
Michael Jordan
Isiah Thomas
Kevin McHale
Bill Laimbeer
Jeff Malone
Charles Barkley
Maurice Cheeks
Robert Parish

WEST ALL-STARS (154)

Tom Chambers
James Worthy
Hakeem Olajuwon
Earvin Johnson
Alvin Robertson
Mark Aguirre
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Walter Davis
Eric Floyd
Joe Barry Carroll
Rolando Blackman
Alex English
Ralph Sampson

all those legendary names, and Tom Chambers was the MVP  he deserved it tho. he's the only man on earth who could pull off the two-handed flying dunk from the 3 point line in those Lakers vs Celtics sega games.

They were the reason why I started watching basketball.

I would like to see that All-Star game, especially since the West won. :P

Damn those lineups are great. Kind of surprising that the East didn't win, they seem to have the more "talent" filled squad (not to say the west didn't).

Back when people actually gave a shit about the NBA.

Now the game is so diluted and there aren't marquee guys. Teams don't even have an identity because there are so many free agency moves and trades.

That's kind of the story of baseball too, right?

I can't believe the Houston teams with those two and Drexler never won the Championship, or even make it to the finals. Those teams were so frustrating that they didnt do better than they did. Poor Charles
