The following is an excerpt from a student paper on the differing conceptions of freedom in Marx and John Stuart Mill
"For example, a garbage man should recieve a higher salary than the members of the musical group Creed. This is due to the fact that the garbage being collected is of higher importance to society than Creed's music being heard, and garbage men work harder than the band Creed so they should recieve more money becuase of that."
